Reporting to both the Marketing and Events teams, this role will touch on all aspects of marketing Eighty-Eight products and throwing memorable events!

Hard work and odd hours will be required, but in return there will be super fun brewery perks and get to be part of a very rad team.

What You Will Do:

• Assist in Content Creation including, but not limited to: photography, videography and copy writing
• Work with Marketing team on branding/marketing strategy and planning.
• Explore new channels for social media marketing.
• Event planning, and logistics, including attending all major events, setup, teardown.
• Event lead on minor events and taproom programming.

Skills and Experience Needed for this Position:

• Huge passion for craft beer and a desire to learn what goes into marketing it.
• Currently enrolled in post-secondary school.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Experience in photography, videography and content creation a strong asset. 
• Experience in graphic design an asset.
• Knowledge of current and emerging trends in digital media.
• Strong networking and relationship building.
• Good with hard work, flexible shifts and odd hours including frequent weekend shift.
• Work with Sales team to conduct in-store tastings.
• Must posses a class 5 drivers license and clean driving abstract.
• Physical ability to repeatedly lift 55lb objects.
• Must have access to a vehicle.

Reporting to the Operations and Finance teams, this role will provide hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping and administrative support to help keep our brewery running smoothly.

What You Will Do:

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and reconciliations.
• Support bookkeeping and financial record-keeping to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Help with data entry, filing and general administrative tasks to keep the office organized.
• Work with the Finance team to prepare reports and assist with budgeting tasks.
• Communicate with vendors, customers and team members to support day-to-day operations.
• Assist in inventory management and tracking financial transactions.
• Support operational projects as needed to improve efficiency and organization.

Skills and Experience Needed for This
Position:

• Passion for craft beer and a desire to learn what goes on behind the scenes.
• A keen interest in accounting, finance and administration, with a desire to learn.
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program related to accounting, finance, business or a similar field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software and the Microsoft suite is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Eighty-Eight Brewing Company is hiring for a cook role in it’s Portland Street Pizza restaurant in the taproom. If you are passionate about food, building something from scratch and being part of a rad team, Eighty-Eight is the place for you!

• Receiving, preparing and storing of ingredients and management of inventory and food costs
• Uphold clear health and safety protocols in line with AHS requirements
